1) Are Romany people Jewish? 
No, Romany people are ethnically, Romany people.
Romany came from NW India and Pakistan and have specifics haplogroups and admixture with, at least "noticeable" South Asia admixture and a GOOD number of cousins with Romany and S. Asia haplogroups. 
Religiously, actual Romany people are from any religion, Muslim, Catholic, Christians, Jewish, Hinduist or Buddhist etc. 
Romany people can, sometimes, have Jewish matches or small Jewish admixture due to the many contacts we had in the RECENT centuries (not before).

2) Are Romany people mainly Caucasians?
No, Romany people are ethnically, Romany people.

3) Are Romany people just Europeans?
No, Romany people are ethnically, Romany people. 
Romany admixture has anyway a value of "VERY recent" European admixture because of the recent migration into Europe after 1300-1500 CE.Please see linked studies for more info.

4) Are Romany people black or white?
No, Romany people were a COMPOSITE (mixed races) group already when they moved OUT from India.
India population had already many castes and different people of different colors and traditions.
The aDNA Romany (antique) admixture can vary from person to person and from clan (vitsa) to clan. We often notice India Dravidians' tribes aDNA from south central India but also Khatri ( Kshatriyas ) DNA from NW India and various Brahmins' descents lines (Brahmins are everywhere and from many races).

5) Are Romany people DOM ?
No, Romany people are ethnically, Romany people. 
Hence, no, there is not substantial proof, at the present, to "precisely" identify Romany with DOM.

6) Are Romany people wanderers / roamers?
No,  Romany population was forced into an EXODUS from abt. 1000 CE by Ghaznavids invading troops of NW India and later by different wars and invasions of they territories there were living. 

7) Are Romany people identical to the many "Traveler" people ethnic groups from Uk, Scotland, Ireland or Germany?
No, Romany people are ethnically, Romany people. 
Travelers from England, Ireland, Scandinavia, Germany etc have mainly an European and Caucasian admixture only. They do not have links with South Asia. 
Please consider that Traveler families married into Romany people families sometime; so some families are linked to us.
