Our research has identified twelve Runkle immigrants to America, listed below. Initially for this project, we plan to test male Runkles for their paternal ancestry to see if any of these immigrants are likely related.

2. Nicholas Runkle (1716-1776), (half brother to 1. Jacob), of Berks Co, PA arrived on the Loyal Judith, 1743.
3. Jacob Runkle (1721-1791) of Central VA, arrived on the Hampshire, 1748.
4. Jeremias Runkle, of Western VA, arrived on the Two Brothers, 1748.
5. Jost Runkle, of PA, VA and the West, arrived on the Two Brothers, 1748.
6. John Runkle, arrived on the St. Andrew, 1749.
7. Wendel Runkle (brother of 3. Jacob), of Frederick, MD, arrived on the Richmond, 1764.
8. John Runkle, arrived on the Morning Star, 1772.
9. Michael Runkle, arrived on the Brittania, 1773.
10. Phillip Runkle, arrived on the Brittania, 1773.
11. Philip Runkle, of Wisconsin.
12. Adam Runkle, of New Jersey.
