The aim of this project is to provide a single location for all men who are ZP78 POSITIVE. The men in this project all fall under the SNP L257 which is a sub-branch of R1b-U106. The men specifically are positive to the SNP ZP78 and/or have SNPs downstream of this particular SNP. The STR modal for the first 25 STRs in this project are: 13, 24, 14, 11, 11-15, 12, 12, 12, 13, 13, 29, 17, 9-10, 11, 11, 23, 15, 19, 31, 15-15-16-17 NOTE: As this is a modal for the STRs, there are some STRs that SLIGHTLY vary for a couple of men in this project. The ancestors of the men (that may join) in this project have various surnames and may have links to lands in the Marches (either side of the Scottish-English border - for example Roxburgh, Liddell, Northumberland, Yorkshire) while at the same time having links to lands further afield in Britain. NOTE: When joining this project please give each admin at least 'Limited Access', but preferably 'Full Access', so they can access your DNA results to help extend the knowledge of how we all fit together.
