To assist individuals find their "Sherman" Roots and to help prove/disprove Sherman lines back to England. It seems that a little less than 1/2 of our participants have the "Dedham Footprint". There is some disagreement on lines to Yaxley and Dedham. Thomas of Yaxley had a son, "Henry" and there was a "Henry" from Dedham, England. Some think Henry, son of Thomas of Yaxley and Henry of Dedham were the same Henry. A posted coment on the "Shermans of Yaxley" site by Michael J. Wood of London, England shows the age difference between the 2 "Henrys" indicates they are 2 different lines. If we can recruit a participant whith a known Yaxley ancestry we may be able to resolve the issue to some degree.
