The goals of this project is to use the outcome of DNA testing to further your family connections and your family tree.
It matters not whether you are male or female - your DNA is relevant and important.
To get the best from a Y-test, you may have to test to Y-67 (or higher).
To get the best from an autosomal test, you may have to recruit siblings or parents. (This is because of the vagaries associated with the way the chromosomes of your parents are passed down to you.
To get the best from a mitochondrial test, you may have to test your full sequence.
But in all these things, my job is to aid and guide you according to what it is that you want.
I am not here to line the pockets of FTDNA.
I am a voluntary admin who wants to do the best possible for each of the members of any project I administer.
