About us
STRAUB, STROUP, TRAUB, TROUP, STRAUBE, STROUPE, STROOP, STRUB and any other reasonable spelling variations are welcome to join the project. Only males have a Y-chromosome, so only male STRAUB/etc. can be tested. If you are female, you will need to have a male STRAUB/etc. relative submit a sample for your line. Please do not request to join this project if you are female. To participate meaningfully, test subjects will need to share their direct male line ancestry back to the earliest known ancestor (excluding living persons).
