Det långsiktiga målet med projektet är att utveckla kunskaperna om de svenska adelsätterna ursprung bortom de skriftliga källorna samt att kunna bekräfta eller dementera osäkra, tveksamma eller ifrågasatta uppgifter i den genealogiska litteraturen om de olika adelsätternas ursprung och släktskap.

The long term goal of the current project is to extend the knowledge of the origin of the Swedish noble families beyond the written sources and be able to confirm or reject uncertain, doubtful or disputed information in the genealogical literature regarding the origin and kinship of the different noble families.
