- to help trace each different Wellhausen, Amsler and Fricke line in Germany, Switzerland, and elsewhere back as early as possible -- wherever the trail may lead -- and to trace each immigrant Wellhausen, Amsler and Fricke line back through its immigrant ancestor to the old country,

- to enable Wellhausen, Amsler and Fricke descendants to verify and confirm the accuracy of their tracing back to an alleged surname ancestor,

- to find same-surname cousins in Germany, Switzerland, America, and elsewhere for exchanging greetings and information, and

- to help focus our traditional, records-based ancestor research on the names, places and times most likely to be productive.
