1. To identify Stewart (R-Z17581) lines from King Robert II, down through his descendants that have a common ancestor in the Stewart (R-Z17581) tree. To act as an aid to genealogy research, including all spellings or variations of the surname Stewart.

2. To establish a data base of DNA information to aid in determining the descent from various branches of the Royal Stewart tree and associated families.
