The aim of this project is to find out whether the data of the second and third editions of Lithuanian Chronicles (15-16th centuries) correctly describes that members of the Centaur (Hippocentaurus) clan who originate from legendary Dauspungas, e.g. Giedroyc/Giedraitis, Swirski/Svirsky and Holszanski/Alseniskis (now extinct) princes, are firstly consanguineal, and, secondly, if they share a common male ancestor with the other princely (and non-princely) houses, e.g. Radvilas/Radziwils, Gediminids and etc. The project administrators also aims to model possible migration routes of the members of the Centaur clan after 1st century AD. We welcome people who’s families are known to belong to legendary Centaur or Dausprungas clan to our project. We also welcome people who’s families are known to use coat of arms of centaur or centaur related signs. Celem projektu jest zbadanie, czy prawdziwymi sa informacje zawarte w 2. i 3. wydaniu Kronik Litewskich (15-16 w.) o tym iz czlonkowie klanu Centaur (Hippocentaurus) np. ksiazeta Giedroycowie, Swirscy lub Holszanscy, pochodzacy od legendarnego Dowsprunga, sa po pierwsze ze soba spokrewnieni, a po drugie, sa spokrewnieni z któras z litewskich dynastii, Gedyminowiczów lub Radziwillów, ewentualnie takze z innymi rodami. Celem projektu jest takze ustalenie dróg migracji przodków tego klanu, poczawszy od 1 w. n.e. Zapraszamy do projektu wszystkich czlonków tego klanu, nawet gdy nie posiadaja dokumentów na potwierdzenie swego pochodzenia. Wystarcza nam jedynie podania rodzinne, pozyskane od przodków. Takze osoby, których herby sa uznane za pochodne herbu Centaur.
