The aim of the project is to discover whether Giedroyc, Holszanski and Swirski families have agnate relationship, as it is described in the second and third edition of the Lithuanian chronicles, as well as, to understand projected migration routes of these families before 12 AD. Another goal of the project is to check whether these families had a common male ancestors with Gediminids, Radvilas and other families which were active in the Baltic region and beyond in the past.
