This project is to help researchers make connections with others whose ancestors immigrated through Pennsylvania before 1850. Several major groups used Pennsylvania as their gateway to a new life. Some of these groups were the Quakers, "Pennsylvania Dutch"(Germans & Swiss), Irish, English, French, Scotts and Scotts-Irish. Often these people were related but with the lack of paper documents in the early years of the colonies the only way to make a connection is through DNA. Hopefully by grouping these early travelers, you will be able to find relatives you didn't know you had. PLEASE ONLY ASK TO JOIN IF YOU KNOW YOUR ANCESTORS LIVED IN OR IMMIGRATED THROUGH PENNSYLVANIA BEFORE 1850.
