The primary objectives of the Gedrosia Ancestry Project as follow:

• Assist members who don't have family history records about their tribes root names especially some Baloch diaspora.
• Comparing the tribal connections tree mentioned in some historical books with the genetic results.
• Verify or debunk some mythologies about Baloch people origins such as the Aleppo hypothesis and the Medes descendant.
• Knowing the genetic paternal lineage between different Baluch haplogroups in comparison to the other local & global clans.
• Mapping the ancient migration trace routes for the Gedrosian tribes.
• Building a modern comprehensive name list tribal tree database using genetic scientific basis and identifying new unregistered tribe labels (surnames).
