Can I join this project if I was tested by another autosomal testing agency, and have not uploaded my data yet?

Fill Out : your name, sex, email, click the Terms of Service, then Click Try it Free.
A screen comes up for upload raw data: click the big blue button.
After about 3 minutes it'll say something along lines of upload received, it'll take 3-5 days to process.
Scroll to the top of the screen. There will be a taskbar: myFTNDA, DNA Tests, Projects and Resources
Click on Projects and follow the drop down to Join a Project. Click it.
A list of general interest alphabetized projects comes up. Scroll through them. They'll be an input box for Search by Surname.
Type Hatteras Families and click the yellow Search. Above it will appear a line like:

The words Hatteras_Families is a link. Click on it. This will bring up a profile off the project, and at the bottom will be a Yellow button with Join in it. Click the Join button. This will join you to the project and bring up a manage project listing of all projects you are in. Under the Website column click the link www.familytreedna.com/groups/hatteras-families to go to the project's activity feed.
