The Kazakhs consist from three Hordes (Great, Middle and Junior) and Outside Group (descendants of Genghis Khan, missionaries to the holiest islam sites, and tolengits (descendants of Oirat captives)).
In general, the Kazakhs are mixture of tribes with turkic, mongolian and indo-iranian roots. Kazakh is the largest ethnic group of Kazakhstan, which is located in Central Asia. It was hypothesized that Kazakhstan was one of the places from where a large number of groups disseminated to various places in the World.
