KNOX & VARIANT SURNAMES PROJECT: All Knox-surnamed men are eligible for test participation, as are men with similar surnames like Nox, Nock. We also seek participation by men who are known (or thought) to be 'biological Knoxes' but who carry entirely different surnames due to adoptions or other name-changing events. IMPORTANT NOTE: Unfortunately, females don't carry the type of DNA that's necessarily employed for this and all other 'surname-tracing' projects. Nonetheless, the Knox project actively seeks and cordially welcomes female project members who wish to recruit male relatives for testing.
