Results are now available for 40 men, all bearing the Knox surname. We're able to group these men into 20 biologically-separate Knox family lines.

The largest of these groups has 21 members, another group has nine members, and most of the others (so far!) have only one member each.

It's thought that within each 'multi-member' group, the members share a common Knox-surnamed male ancestor born since about 1500 AD -- and probably more recently.

We further believe that as more men are tested for the project, we'll eventually find not only additional matches for current members but also additional Knox family lines that are clearly distinct. So be sure to stay tuned!
