About us
Feb, 2011 - due to the untimely passing of our DNA project administrator, Covington Scott 'Scotty' Littleton, I (Terry Littleton) have stepped in as administrator. Most of you know me as the admin/sponsor (listdad) of LITTLETON@rootsweb.com. I really didn't want another responsibility so I waited to see if anyone else desired to assume Scottys duties. After watching the DNA project sit idle for some time, I just had to do something. Please contact me if you have any questions, concerns, ideas, whatever. Any and all help is appreciated.
I for one would like to say that I will sincerely miss Scotty. He was a wonderful person and a dedicated LITTLETON researcher. He and Mary Ann stopped in S FL several times while traveling and we always had a long visit over dinner. He contributed greatly to the success of the Littleton genealogy endeavor I started on Rootsweb quite a few years ago.
I'd also like to express my appreciation to all those Littletons who've donated their Y-DNA to the project. However, we still need more Littleton volunteers to help resolve the cunundrum re: the several distinct Littleton lines mentioned before and the appearance of unexpected different DNA in heretofor 'proven' Littleton lines.
Finally, we can always use more contributions to our General Fund. These generous donations have subsidized a number of tests that might have been impossible otherwise. So please help if possible.
