About us
Our primary goal is to connect the MacNamara and Sweeney families from Moyriesk and Rathclooney, County Clare. We hope DNA will point us in the right direction.
Members need to be able to connect their family to a person referenced in one of the following sources:-
* Ireland, Tithe Applotment Books, 1805-1927
* Griffith's Valuation, Moyriesk, Parish of Doora;
* Griffith's Valuation, Moyriesk, Parish of Clooney;
* Griffith's Valuation, Rathclooney, Parish of Clooney;
* 1901 Ireland Census, Townlands of Moyriesk and Rathclooney;
* 1911 Ireland Census, Townlands of Moyriesk and Rathclooney.
Connections to other townlands in Doora and Clooney and adjoining parishes, such as Kilraghtis, Drumcliff, Quin and Ruan will also be included in the study.
Other names of interest include Hanrahan, Enright, Hehir, O'Connell, O'Donnell, McInerney, McMahon and Mahon.
