So far we have establised there are many genetically different Nix family groups! At last count we had discovered 7! One of these groups is quite large and already has over 12 matching participants in it. As the project continues to grow, we will likely discover additional Nix family groups that are unrelated to these groups, and we hope our established family groups will expand to include more related lines whose DNA matches theirs. Its an exciting time to participate in the project!
