RYAN, RIAN, RION, RYON, RYEN, RIEN, RIEHN, RIEHNE, O'RYAN, MULRYAN, MULRINE, and any other spelling variations are welcome to join the project. Anyone with Ryan ancestry is welcome to join (men and women) but the focus of the project is on Y-DNA. Only males have Y-chromosomes, so only a male RYAN can provide Ryan Y-DNA. If you are female, you can have a male RYAN relative submit a sample for your line. To participate meaningfully, testees will need to share their direct male line ancestry back to the earliest known RYAN, as a pedigree chart (excluding living persons).
