Recent advances in "SNP testing" are causing a revolution in our understanding of structure within haplogroups, particularly haplogroup "R1b". This means that the nomenclature is in a state of flux and this can be confusing. Our results have been re-classified using the simplest and most-informative terms currently available but these are subject to rapid change.

We have a useful database of SLOAN results and are seeing clear structure in the project. However, as always, we would like new recruits! We would also appreciate it if project members would share more information for the mutual benefit of the participants and so we would encourage them to communicate with the administrators.
