The Viking Y-DNA Project was initiated in Stockholm in December 2004.  Vikings, Saxons, Angles, Danes, Goths and other invaders travelled far and wide and left descendants in many parts of Europe and beyond.

All relevant ethnic groups and haplogroups are being studied within this project.  If you think you are of Viking, Nordic or Germanic descent please join us. NB This is a Y-DNA project only, so mtDNA and Family Finder autosomal DNA are not covered.
