A major goal of this project is to locate as many families as is possible who are connected to one of the ships who traveled to Australia and to Norfolk Island. So many of the passenger lists are missing that I see this as a real opportunity for those of you who are fortunate enough to have had your families pass such information down to you. Unfortunately, there is no current method easily available to me to do this for those who have tested Family Finder (FF), but if there are enough of the FF testers with such knowledge, I am willing to work with you to find a method. (Exactly the same will apply to those who have known Convicts in the family history but who are not direct paternal or maternal descendants - I have ideas on this one but whether it will work or not remains to be seen).

In due course, I intend to publish much more detail of the "passengers" on board the various Convict Ships but for the moment, the First and Second fleets are named and under the 'NEWS' tab.
