A DNA study on the surname of Dellinger, Dillinger, Dilliner, Dehlinger, Tellinger, and other variations. This project was organized to see if the the various Dellinger lines are related to one another.

There are several Dellinger lines located in eastern Pennsylvania, including that headed by Jacob Dellinger of York Co., Pennsylvania, of which I am a descendant of. There is also a line of Dellinger's located in Shenandoah Co., Virginia headed by Johann Georg Dellinger. And several North Carolina Dellinger families headed by three brothers, Martin, Phillip and Valentine. Plus there are numerous other Dellinger families which don't seem to fit into any of those three divisions. Hopefully this DNA project will determine whether or not all of these Dellinger families are related or not.
