As the majority of Fisher families will belong to the dominant north European haplogroup R1b a 12/12 will not be sufficient to prove a common relationship between two testees. An upgrade to a high resoltuion 37 marker test will be warranted in most cases unless the results of the 12/12 match point to an unusual or rare haplotype. So far from over 100 tests we have recorded more than five separate 12/12 matches and a number of 25/25 matches. We are still very much is the early stages of this project for more conclusive comments to be made.
