About us
Please remember that if your first twelve YDNA markers do not match another then you are probably not related:
A test at 111 markers is really the only way to tell which line you have descended from.
The USA results so far are:
Thomas Scott Pring from West Virginia 6597, Elmer Pring 42403 from Indiana and Jeff D. Pring 66535 from Minnesota are all connected to the earliest Prings from Virginia and Tennesse. Ronald Pring 46573 from Ohio and Ivan Anthony Pring 30093 from England are able to trace their ancestors back to England but they both did not match each other or another Pring family from Rockbridge County Virginia and Washington County Tennesse.
Most of the male Pring testers have matches to other Prings, however some lines can be traced back to a female with no known partner (NPE), consequently the YDNA is different to most.
Some Prings were previously another surname which has been changed at some point, sometimes halfway through a family, with no YDNA matching to other Prings.
Some Prings are deceased and therefore we cannot upgrade their YDNA results to 111 markers.
