About us
The goal of this project is to maintain a chronological haplotree for project members so that the further genealogical history of haplogroup members may be examined safely. A continuously updated project haplotree shows each members' position and time-distance from every other member, allowing for in-depth and accurate genealogical research to proceed along a secure route. The project is perhaps the most extensive on-going study of Z18271 Levites and Cohanim in the world today, and has already produced three informative research papers (available through the 'Overview' page). The project also seeks to identify potential 'Lost Tribes' branches. As of this writing, five potential Lost Tribe sub-branches of Z18271 have been detected. (21 OCTOBER 2023)
